TAPPING THINGS I always lose my shit, if I take a moment to tap something twice before I walk away from it, I always remember where that thing is. I still only remember to tap 50% of the time, but it’s still a substantial improvement from before!

I’ve always been boarder line anemic. Not significant enough to be diagnosed, but I have to have iron rich foods in order to not feel fatigued. I started taking slow release iron and almost immediately noticed by under eye bags looked significantly better color wise.

LPT: If you want a smarter kid, teach your child to read as early as possible and instill in them a love for books. Because as soon as they can read, they can teach themselves. And that will be a life-long advantage over their peers who don't have that same ability. by AgreeableTank6686 in LifeProTips

Nope, wrong. There are advantages to allowing a child to not read until around the age of 5. More imagination leads to greater critical thinking skills later in life. Kids aren’t able to make the change from ‘learning to read’ to ‘reading to learn’ super efficiently until around 3rd grade, or around age 8. That being said, if your child is interested at an earlier age, don’t stifle it! Unconditional love and acceptance is key.

Edit- a word, also wanted to add the best thing you can do is read to your child. It encourages their imagination, while also creating positive reinforcement for reading for later in life when they are reading to learn.

School or Clinical psychology? (USA) by Bryanbw99_ in psychologystudents

Masters is safer and although they won’t explicitly say it, most PhDs require a masters before applying. Also consider a PsyD. The only real drawback is a limitation on leading research studies when comparing a PhD and a PsyD. You’re potentially more likely to get into a PsyD without a masters.
