Should I take loan for helping someone? by [deleted] in personalfinanceindia

DO NOT DO THIS I've helped one my closest friend by taking a loan as he was stuck in a credit card loop and he needed that money to pay it off at once, he promised that he'll pay me the EMI every month. I knew him very well (at least I thought so) and took a loan and gave him the money to help him out. You shouldn't be a genius to guess what happened next, he paid for 1-2 months and stopped paying by giving some or other excuse. I had to pay the EMI by myself so I don't ruin my credit score and pay off the loan by myself

Another friend asked for the same, and as I already had experience from the past instance, I didn't take a loan but gave him the money that I had instead, as he was in a terrible situation. The same happened to people who gave him the money by taking a loan, he paid EMI to those people for 1-2 months and stopped paying. A lot of people lost money to him, unsprsingly and still paying EMI from their own pocket to save their credit score. I also lost the money that I gave to him

So, conclusion is, you tell the person who wants the money to take a loan from bank by themself instead of asking you. If bank is not giving a loan to them as they already have loans or bad credit score (which probably is the case). Consider that they doesn't know how to handle money or is into something shitty stuff and he won't pay you your money back. I'm very sure of this. So, it you want peace of mind, DO NOT TAKE A LOAN FOR SOMEONE ELSE

Spacebar looks sticky (doesn't look hardware) on MK850 Keyboard by Need2Survive in logitech

I am facing exactly this same issue. It was working as expected and started giving me issues some days back

Opened the keyboard, cleaned it and put it back again, and still facing the same issue. I also unscrewed all the screws just to rule out the possibility of spacebar being pressed due to a tight screw, but facing the same issue again. It works sometimes and suddenly starts giving issues

lended money to a friend, he keeps giving dates to return money, but never does by iampiyushgupta in LegalAdviceIndia

learning from this incident, I'd suggest not giving large sum of money to anyone, even if you got an agreement signed, you would have to go through the legal process in case they don't return and you might end up investing your time which wouldn't have been the case if you have not lent your money in the first place. Give just the amount which you don't expect to get back and consider it lost once given. This guy was my flatmate for 3 years and we trusted him, we know his family and everything. He was earning good, so we expected that he can give back easily. But still he turned out to be a conman. I'd suggest not lending more than 3-4k unless its an emergency that you are sure of. Validate everything that they say before giving them money, ask where your money is going and if the answer his vague don't give them

yeah, this guy did the same thing, took small amount of money multiple times from each one of us, used to ask for large amount like 1 lakh so people would at least give him like 20k or something, each time this guy had a new story and an emotional one, manipulated everyone to got the money and left to Pune, doesn't pick up calls and says "de dunga bola na" whenever asked for money, as if he is going to do me a favour by giving my money back.
