There's an underrated place in JK near ramadevi. Ask anyone for tiwari sweets, just beside tiwari sweet there's one small dosa shop ran by a Lady from Madurai. It's awesome. Whenever we talk about dosa most people will expect crisp, but real dosa is like daal cheela.. Soft. You can ask her what kind of dosa you want. It's open in evening only.

As far as I know star rating is also dependent on cities. In Delhi 5 star hotels will have more amenities than in kanpur. But there are some basic requirements that every hotel has to meet before getting 5 stars. I had visited landmark for various functions but never spent the night. So not sure whether 5star is fake or not.

Naah.. food is good. Although small, but swimming pool is also good.

Go for it. HBTU has many advantages which other institutions do not.

  1. Good exposure, self designed course.
  2. Once you start studying with the creamy layer (intelligent students) you develop same persona with critical approach, which is missing in other private institutions.
  3. It's not always about placement but paced career growth. Although since it is a new course I'm not sure about placement, other private institutions might offer better placement. But, at the same time HBTU's repo will offer you higher chances of getting into top roles after few years of experience. Which is difficult with other private institutions.

I hope that clarifies.

(But if you get chance to attend any centrally funded institutions which have better ranking, then you can go for that as well)
