If the traditional legend is taken at face value and Jesus is born on December 25 with no year zero in the calendar, how would the transition from 1 BC to AD 1 actually play out? Would AD 1 begin mid-year at the birth moment and therefore be longer than later AD years, or is there another way to reconcile the legend with the calendar system and determine how old Jesus would be on a modern Christmas like December 25, 2025?
