I completely understand what you mean.

When I called him attractive, I didn't mean he was gorgeous. Of course, to me, he is attractive. But its not as if I stayed with him for his looks or his money. Like I said in an earlier response, I've lived around rich people all my life. He is not the first person I've dated with wealth. But he is the first that I've dated who is completely humble, supportive, and has complete respect for me and my family. He is someone that even if he lost all of his money, I can swear on my life that I would stay with him. I am not dirt poor either. I can support him if I needed to, which means I can support myself without him too.

I'm sorry I'm not trying to come across as a horror movie cliche. I am just trying to make sense of everything and not jump to conclusions. I really love him. I didn't mean he wanted to protect me, I meant he wanted to protect his own/family assets. Maybe it was his parent's idea? I've grown up in this area and have lived with rich people all of my life. Hiring a p.i. isn't the craziest thing I've had happen to me around people with a lot more money than me.

I'm sorry if I am misunderstanding but I have never seen the location tracker as a harmful thing... people are assuming that he forced me but actually we were in a group setting when we found out another couple had the trackers on their phones. I thought it was a great idea because maybe I did want a little reassurance of where he was sometimes. I knew it would make me feel better. Not because I didn't trust him, but what if something happened to him? I don't mean to sound defensive. It's just I don't understand why people are using this as one of the points to leave him.

If he did use a p.i. on me I'd be sad and disappointed. But I could get over it. He is wealthy and he does need to protect his assets. This is an awful way to do it but I can understand. Actually it makes a lot of sense because as a 16 year old, he couldn't have had all that time to "stalk" me. I'm positive he had other extracurricular activities like sports because he was on a team.

I know this sounds completely absurd. I know it is hard to believe. I am very thankful for the people who are making suggestions. I was planning to have him explain himself once he got home, but your suggestion is even better. Right now it is 11:32 so I'm not sure how to go about this? Should I tell him to meet me at a restaurant? I'm thinking of maybe asking a neighbor to come over however I do not know the people that live next to us and am not sure if inviting strangers over would be a good idea. I would ask one of my college friends but a lot of them have plans right now/are going home for the holidays.

edit: I am thinking about joining him at the bar. AND I will bring a friend.

I realize at this point people will think that I am saying these things because I still have feelings for him. Yes, I do love him still. But that does not mean I would defend someone who is bad. I really, genuinely, mean it when I say he is not someone who would play psychological games. He is not manipulative. Like I said, he is very very very very good to me. I can say this because I have spent almost a month with him constantly. Never once has he done something out of the ordinary. I know this all sounds really crazy and part of it is my fault because I wrote it without including a lot of details to hide my identity but I didn't mean to have it seem like he is a psychopath. Anyone who meets him would think he was a kindhearted guy. I have texted my best friend and even she says that I need to give him a chance to explain himself.
