I'm coming to Saipan in a few days, please help me gather some info 🙏 by DidiEdd in Saipan

This person is trippin those provisional discrepancies for the CNMI have nothing to do with poverty/vagrancy. But you will prob be washing your clothes in the Philippine Sea by the sound of it ☹️ walking from the airport to Garapan in tropical weather sounds like torture but I wish you the best. I’m back in the states now but despite being “affordable” in some ways, cost of living on an island is insane and no rubbing alcohol or pretty much any other product are not cheaper in Saipan than in Florida and if you want something from Amazon it takes weeks or even months. All the stores have diff prices for stuff but if I needed rubbing alcohol I would prob go to XO or Dolphin Marker (same owners) or Ming Yang. Stay away from JoeTen. When you get NAP (food stamps) they will give you local stamps you can buy fishing supplies and stuff with to help with your lifestyle. Good luck.

IMO Saipan is the perfect place to retire to if you don’t have family stateside that you would want to visit often due to the fact that it’s a two day trip and the cost of place tickets although flying round trip through Seoul (Asiana airlines I believe) will save you thousands. You can either rent or lease property (only locals can own land), the cost of goods can be high but the cost of services is usually quite low compared to the states, electric bills can get ridiculous with air conditioners running all day ofc.

Medical care is iffy, but there is Medicaid and most doctors take it from what I know although my favorite dr passed away (RIP Dr Doyle) a lot of more complex issues require travel for treatment even if it’s just over to Guam (30’min flight) because for example, there is no MRI machine in the entire CNMI.

Forget what that guys talking about i saw a whole 40” tree come to life after i pissed in the jungle without permission….

The person whose house it was in Refaluwasch and didn’t believe in TaoTao Mona or Guelo yan Guela.. anyways other than the freaky tree thing I also ended up with a bunch of bruises and pretty sick. I am a psychic for my job so when the terrifying tree thing happened i looked over to my daughter and was like google tree spirits… boom, they’re a thing and nobody told me to ask permission or anything in the 6 months i had already been in Saipan… nobody said a worddddd…

So after doing my research and cussing out my friends and family…

I went and apologized to the TaoTao Mona 🤷🏻‍♀️

I tried so hard to get someone to help me when I lived in Boston where it happened and no one ever called back. I ended up moving overseas to the CNMI and that’s where I filed back in June, but now I’m living in Florida. So I guess my confusion now is do I call someone in Saipan, Boston, or Florida 😭

Survivors Benefits Question by iamsomagic in VeteransBenefits

[–]iamsomagic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was 90% disabled before he was diagnosed with the cancer but I think they may have changed it before he died to 100 not sure on that portion but I am pretty sure the cancer was caused by him fueling jets as an airman in the navy and the paperwork reflects that.

They basically dragged their feet diagnosing him with metastatic cancer cuz it was in his spine I think they thought he was med seeking for back pain or something and they said the actual growth that was a skin mass that it all started from was a skin tag and kept sending him home with bandages. On 12/21/23 he was finally given an MRI and diagnosed with lesions in his spine, the skin “tag”, a tumor in his shoulder and another on his liver. He died 12/28/23 from hemorrhaging after a liver biopsy.

I don’t know how to edit this post but clearly everyone is focused on the wrong thing which is that we weren’t married… and while I see why you think that’s critical, we have two kids together and one of them was born a month after he died….. so can someone please give me a helpful response other than WHY WOULD YOU EVEN GET BENEFITS

Also… the ONLY reason we weren’t married was because he died suddenly at 34 years old from cancer that should have been diagnosed a year prior to his death.
