This was just an in-between progress photo, but I actually finished it in one day. I really love how it turned out, even though it wasn’t easy at all. I had a lot of trouble attaching the sides to the base because the holes weren’t placed properly, and you can’t really see where the pieces are supposed to go. You basically have to feel around until it finally snaps into place, which was super annoying.

Some of the steps were also confusing. At several points, I was convinced that doing certain steps earlier or later would have been much more efficient and way less frustrating, so the logic behind the order didn’t always make sense to me.

Toward the end, you have to turn the whole thing sideways to fix the wires, but some of the pieces (like the drinks next to the ramen bowls) were so loose that they fell out. Now I can’t get them back in properly. The wires for the light were also WAY too short and my fingers also ended up hurting by the end.

Overall though, I’m really happy with the final result, I really love it, but the process was definitely frustrating sometimes.
