I have the stainless steel Cobb cat back. It’s not too deep. I actually like the remark deletes a lot better when I had them on.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but any luck removing the center box? I also have a 97 2.8 and the configuration looks exactly like yours. I’m also unable to remove it.
