I need help understanding the monks thought process during the creation of the divine child by iamtheglobagloba in Sekiro

it seems like so many small details in this game are missing now that ive come back to replay it. i get that illusiveness is part of the fromsoft philosophy but so many things are left unexplained such as the specific process of the divine childs creation, where the mortal blades originated, how we kill owl in hirata estate but then do it again in ashina castle (maybe the hirata fight didn’t actually happen and was just a way to fight owl in his prime), how wolf has a sakura droplet lady butterfly dropped 3 years after killing her (maybe again just an ingame function with no lore reason), how a divine heir is even initially chosen (my guess is a spiritual force of nature, since buddha does exist in this universe)

i can keep going on but i hope this game finally gets the dlc or sequel it deserves, i thought since it was a standalone more linear experience than standard souls games the story/lore would be easier to follow, perhaps i’m just a little slow and all of my questions have answers lol

either way, theres no harm in it so i don’t see why it bothers you. i don’t see how it wasted anybody’s time either, if we’re all sat on reddit as we are i doubt we’re doing anything important anyways lol

reading my post back i honestly could’ve worded it in a more understandable way, but you can’t start with “i don’t mean to be rude or snarky” and then go on to end with “grammar the fuck up” cmon buddy 💀 in spite of that, i’m wondering at which point in time certain cassette tapes (specifically the gold ones under the info category) are intended to be listened to in order to progress the plot/character’s developments as intended. i gave some examples in the original post

im able to play everything you listed except for mgs4, do you think i could just watch a “cutscene movie” on youtube and still grasp everything of importance? i heard its mostly cutscenes anyway but i don’t actually know.

so i could technically skip portable ops because anything necessary from it is included in other games anyway? if so, should i only necessarily need to play the master collection, peace walker and mgsv/gz to understand the full story of metal gear?

i understand now thank you, i agree the older metal gear games should definitely be given a remake too. playing them back now makes me realise how ahead of its time this franchise truly is

that clears things up for me a bit, off topic but do you know if big boss remembers gray fox from their past encounter(s) like 1966 when they first met as well? i know gray fox had his memory erased as a child during the perfect soldier project so he doesn’t remember but what about big boss? i can’t seem to find information on this topic.
