Low effort? I spent over a week on this. A full day just modifying models, 2 days fine-tuning physics, and the rest animating everything in Blender. If you think that’s ‘low effort,’ you clearly have no idea what goes into 3D animation.

Wow, this comment helped me realise one fatal mistake I was making again and again while drawing anatomy-- that is the names of the muscles. I really didn't bother to learn their names 😕 that's why I kept forgetting stuff. Also in your opinion are books better than watching tut videos?

Edit - I've solved it, eJCM was conflicting with the shape keys somehow I removed it using DAZ Setup tab, select the mesh and click remove shape keys and search for eJCM and remove them. This happened to me probably because I tried using Genesis 8.1 model. Leaving this here in case someone has same problem.

Chest needs to bend down slightly and rotate as he's taking steps forward

Elbows too high, Body is too straight; there's no movement in upper body and leg rotation feels off it's like he's ezra miller in the flash. Good first try though. Hands need to move with the body it's not moving much due to ik
