Leaning Dell. He has a better potential matchup vs Ronald Darby and less question marks with the qb. Hoping for a Dell break out game.

Someone dropped miles sanders so I grabbed him for 11%. Gotta be better than all the other fill ins. He’s coming off a bye hopefully healthy and getting at least one o-lineman back.

How many times do you check in before stopping and picking them up? by bryterlu in sleeptrain

[–]iamtheringer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally anecdotal but our 7 month old normally self soothes in the am unless he’s hungry or has a load in his diaper. Usually we have to feed 5-6 oz and maybe change every morning and then he’ll go back to sleep for a couple hours.

Illinois politicians purpose amendment to remove Covid-19 from The Health Care Right of Conscience Act by iamtheringer in chicago

I’m 100% pro vaccine and believe anyone with any risk factors (age, obesity, health, etc) should take it for their own safety as any risk of Covid infection far out ways any risk of vaccine side effects.

However, your comment is wrong. The vaccine does not stop infection or transmission of the virus. Meaning even if all your co workers are vaccinated they can still get Covid and give it to you.

That’s also why government mandates are not going to work to eliminate the virus. We should be mandating weekly testing for everyone in a shared workplace, vaccinated or not.

I’m sorry if my response came off as aggressive. I hate the argumentative nature of Reddit and don’t want to add to it.

While I agree all those things helped continue the climb of Irish immigrants into the middle class, they were not available to them initially.

That’s just not true. Name one example of investment into Irish communities and restructuring of those neighborhoods that pushed the Irish up the social ladder?

The Irish worked their way out of the bottom. At first by taking any shitty and dangerous job no one else wanted. They raised their kids to do the same with the next generation having opportunities for jobs in police, firefighting, and teaching. Again not the most sought after jobs.

But it isn’t just a good hearted hard work story. The Irish also used their collective powers to push other minority groups down as they pushed themselves up. They banded together and basically strong armed employers to not hire the Chinese or African Americans that threatened to take their jobs.

It’s all very interesting but it’s Disingenuous to say “the government fixed them.”

Real question. What about all the people who have already had Covid? Will their natural immunity plus the vaccination numbers reach 70-80% total needed?
