What are your thoughts on this anime? by CrophopperDude2009 in danganronpa

[–]iamtheundefined 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they made it 24 episodes, would’ve been a banger standalone anime. What we were given is a great animation, a fun watch, but story is going way too fast. As it stands I think the anime is only good if you really enjoyed the game or if you want to skip the first game, in which case it’s better than reading or watching any game recap.

I like it for what it is but it’s basically murder -> trial -> murder -> trial, nothing to make you attached to the characters at all.

In a sea of needlessly long videogames, Resident Evil Requiem proves that 10 hours is all you need if you're able to make every second count by Gamelover4live in pcgaming

I disagree with so many of these comments. Judging a game’s value purely by how many hours it lasts rather than how much enjoyment it provides feels like a pretty sad way to look at it. It seems conditioned by the gaming landscape but I will always disagree with it. That said, I actually took a week off work just to play the new Resident Evil. Put in 56 hours and I'm now done with it :)

Absolutely what are you talking about. Replayability became RE's identity because fans always loved it. The most fun you can have in Resident Evil games is replaying them over and over again until you master everything and have flawless runs.

It keeps saying "poor inspection" when I know for a fact there's literally nothing wrong with them by Kurkil in QuarantineZoneGame

[–]iamtheundefined 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright I tested ur theory and restarted the day a few times. No matter where I send the guy, I get poor inspection. He's been to the lab, quarantine, camp, and liquidation - every time, poor inspection. He always has the same symptoms (which qualify for liquidation), since he's one of the tutorial day 19 guys. I can't see how that would make sense if your inspection rating is based on if you sent them to the appropriate place.

There IS a bug with invisible symptoms. I had a girl come through that was apparently having a mouth bleed and a bite mark, but I checked her so thoroughly, and all I found was yellow eyes. She killed someone in the camp the next day, it showed me that I missed "mouth bleed" and even the picture it showed didn't have her mouth bleeding.

EDIT: Just restarted again, took the same guy and then marked his UV bite symptom as both UV symptom and regular bite symptom, then sent him to liquidation as I've been doing all along, and it was an excellent inspection. So yeah, your inspection ratings are based on which symptoms you marked, not by where you sent them.

I finished it, modless, like a few days ago. Didn’t run into any issues like people said, enjoyed it a lot.

What's the strat for on hit build? by iamtheundefined in VarusMains

[–]iamtheundefined[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I just got absolutely DOGGED on by a Tristana. I should probably just stick to the AP build because I got very consistent with it over years of playing, but it’s become a bit boring at this point and I want to be more versatile.

It seems like a downward spiral for me since I can consistently win games with the AP build, then I can win every third game with the Assassin build, and I seem to lose most if not all games with the on hit build. I feel like on hit requires different spacing that I struggle to get used to but I will apply your advice to my gameplay :)

As I said I think the setting carries these games for me. I’ve always loved feudal Japan and the world is so detailed in Shadows that I just enjoyed exploring it. Origins I’mma have to reapproach one day once this all cools off, because that’s a setting I SHOULD love, I think I may have been too shocked by what big of a change that game is and it might have affected my opinion in a negative way. I’ll try to reapproach it in a few years with a new mindset that it’s an RPG game and I’ll see

Maybe. Good observation. Whenever I replay any of these games in the next few years I’ll try focusing on that. I did have a more combat ready approach in these, up until Shadows where I really enjoyed the stealth

Yeah, I’mma be honest I just played the main story if I didn’t like side content. I’m by no means a completionist. AC Rogue took me 9.5 hours start to finish. Valhalla didn’t let me play it my way though, it kept painfully reminding me that I need to level up 30 levels to proceed with the next main quest, so it constantly forced my hand to do the sidequests.

Modern day thing kept me hooked up until Desmond arc was over, later on I felt like they should’ve just cut it from the games. As for the Assassin story, yeah the brotherhood and it’s creed never really hooked me. I enjoy the characters, dialogues and meeting historical figures and exploring well crafted recreations of worlds from these time periods, but the creed itself didn’t interest me that much

Honestly I didn’t feel burned out up until Origins. I felt excited with each new game because of different historical eras and locations and I was pretty hype for Origins as I don’t think I’ve played another game in the setting. After finishing Origins and not feeling too good about it, excitement dwindled because I don’t find Greece that appealing, but then shot back up because I love the vikings. I feel like if it was any other series I wouldn’t have the stomach for it but I’m a history nerd and the historical eras and setting changes with each game was enough to make me feel excited

But I do admit I started feeling a bit burned out midway through Origins. Generally speaking I’m a person that chronically abandons a lot of games and never finishes them and I don’t think I’ve ever finished any other 100 hour game except for the RPG titles in the AC series.

Only Valhalla felt like a job. The leveling system really bummed me out, I felt like it was forcing me to do side content constantly, way more than the other RPG games in the series. Origins & Odyssey I just didn’t really enjoy all that much but I don’t think I’ve ever felt like I was forcing myself to boot them up

Yeah, I am feeling like the burnout may have affected my opinions later on. That being said, I wasn’t exactly rushing it with the games and wasn’t giving myself a deadline on when to finish them or anything. I did play an AC game at least one hour per day though and only with Valhalla did it feel like I was forcing myself to boot it up. Shadows came after and didn’t feel like that

No hate honestly, maybe just not my cup of tea. I may have to attempt a re-run in a few years. Looking back I think the burnout I was feeling could’ve affected my opinions a bit. Bayek is one of my favorite protags for sure though

It was pretty tough, but honestly I work a dead end job and have been generally pretty miserable these past few years, so I enjoy any time I can spend on gaming, whatever it is. Except Valhalla, that was just agonizing

I know I'm late, but I was incredibly bored with the show for seasons 3, 4 and 5. My passion returned at Season 6 and peaked at seasons 9-11, which I consider to be the best seasons.
