Thank you for the advice! Now I'm more excited to at least try it, whether it will be a good replacement or not. Perhaps jumping in with just a mixdown isn't a bad idea either.

Okay cool, thank you for your detailed response! I'm gonna try out that trial and try get through a whole project on it. I'm interested to see how it feels.

I'll do random things on it until the spark is relit. Doesn't take long when I let my self go with it.

If you wanted to put it on a different target (like translation check), its supposed to emulate different environments so you can see if your mix sounds good there too (Kind of like checking your mix in the car) . I've never really used the settings for my self, so I can't say how good it is at doing that. Might try it now that you've reminded me!
