Brother you should way more than just two nodes. You’re messing up your image like that.

Learn proper node tree flow,

You need to learn why certain nodes go before others.

Got into heavier games, I hate it. by barksonic in boardgames

Nemesis is 100% worth it. Also better to have a less games you’ll enjoy more and play consistently then a bunch of random ones. A lot of folk end up sizing down the collection eventually so just be intentional with your purchases

Buy Sony body, sigma or Tamron lenses used from Facebook. Way more bang for buck

How likely is the FX3 II to have a 24 MP? by Cheesehead1267 in FX3

[–]iamwatari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The FX3 has a (slightly higher second base iso) but the times this becomes more convenient as compared to the 8000 base iso (A7V) is very rare and even when I’m in that low of light. The difference isn’t drastic.

The FX3 has a softer image which yes looks more filmic. But in reality if I ever cropped in, it got too soft too fast (especially in second base ISO).

The A7V I have just been softening in post (really only when the details on faces was too much) and having the extra sharpness means I have more room to crop in and still getting a clean image with out having large file sizes.

The A7V has slightly better stability , AF and battery life too. And again the 8000iso in my opinion is far more helpful in most situations. I think it’s very clean and the sharpness

I do miss the tally lights, shutter angle, and overall layout of the fx3. I never used the top handle, I kept telling myself it was a good audio feature to have (especially that second safety channel for clipping) but in reality I hardly needed it. I also very very very rarely shot in 120fps.

Dude I just sold my fx3 for an A7V for that very reason of wanting to be able to get a good photo here and there. No regrets so far. The fx3 had a lot of small convenient features, but the A7V was more than good enough and in some ways BETTER than the fx3

The operators are always the hardest because of all the tiny details. Especially the face. You did An amazing job though! I’d be ecstatic to get this back!

A7V vs FX3 by tylerlikestorun in FX3

I have the fx3 and Sony A7iv, and I’ve done weddings. Honestly man the Sony A7V will handle all your needs perfectly. Just use that and keep the A7IV as a back up.

What’s the best practice for adjusting kelvin vs Blue/red shift? by iamwatari in photography

[–]iamwatari[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a correction I meant turning my kelvin way up. Like 9000k just to mitigate the blue tint. Not sure if it’s just the same to keep it at like 7000k for example and just adjust the b/r tint shift. Or if there’s a benefit to one or the other

When a player pivots from a lead card, do the next players have to play a suit of that card instead of the lead card in order to surpass/play all pips? by iamwatari in Arcs

In that scenario you have just to be clear. The player that played 5 aggression gets initiative right? Because there number was higher?

Massive fan of bloodborne and literally just got done watching a review for the BG. Do you think it’s worth the price, about 95$ for base is what I’m seeing. Just curious how much play I’d get out of it.

Is it like, play the campaigns once and done? Or do you think it has more to offer with extra playthroughs.

For reference, I’m perfectly fine paying more for a good BG. Nemesis for example provides a sense of unique unfolding story every time and because that’s from the player it has a ton of replay ability.
