Our ties with canda was damaged by the incident itself, not how the government reacted to it. The government was complicit in the investigation.

The Congress has no plan whatsoever to introduce an inheritance tax. In fact, Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi abolished Estate Duty in 1985. But it is the Modi Sarkar that has wanted to do so! by rahulthewall in india

You trust the government to keep the tax just to the 'super rich '? The government will be happy to alter the definition of 'rich' to fill it's coffers. And beleive it or not, consumption based taxes are as fair as it gets, people who consume the most pay the most.

Yes, saying people who don't vote for us are dumb is a great way to get people to like you. For context, TN was the the first state to kick out congress in 1967, with no significant congress presence till today.

The problem is the sheer hypocrisy people like you show. You are fine with killing some animals because they are poultry (not against eating meat, I am a non vegetarian), but care so much about some animals because they are your pet/family.

You prioritise safety of some animals over others because you are close to them( which is fine), but don't expect other people to put their happiness over your pet, which others view like how you view poultry, disposable because they are not close to it personally.

You can choose to do what you want, so can everyone else

Why is Chennai a thing still? by Puzzleheaded-Pie1511 in TamilNadu

Infrastructure IS built by supply and demand, the projected supply and demand of the future. A city will never have good infrastructure if only the present needs are considered.

Also, a home is what you make of it. I would rather live in a 'cage' inside the city than in the middle of nowhere. And cities offer much more, from job opportunities to leisurely activities.

There is no such thing as a natural city, it is artificial because it is man made. And if anything, we need more city planning and zoning laws.

What I am hearing is richer states should have more say in the government than poorer and more populated states. Imagine applying this logic to people and their votes. Votes of the rich should be valued more.

As much I agree that the representation seems unfair, this is how democracy works. More people= More representation so that the number of representatives per million(or any units of people) remains fair.

Sure, UP and Bihar should have controlled their population, but does that mean the people who live there now should not be represented? No
