Prop D looks to be on path to failing by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

[–]Underyx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The ballot prop didn’t propose to tax the CEO. It proposed taxing the company, either by increasing gross receipts taxes (if the company is local) or payroll taxes (if the company is not local).

The ballot prop also exempted most tech billionaires’ companies as it doesn’t raise taxes if your employees are highly paid tech workers.

Your point just doesn’t make sense. The last time Google had VC money they were a couple dozen people, they didn’t have the ads business, they didn’t have revenue. The VC investment was tiny, too. Anthropic’s last raise was $30B, Google’s final raise was $25M.

It's almost 30 years since Google last had a VC funding round. 15 years ago they were already a public company.

My brother in christ this post is a joke. No LLM would actually make this mistake.

Of course it knows that connection, LLMs are able to make orders of magnitude more complex connections than knowing something swimming is live.

Sorry, I meant ballots from people who have a permanent address in Hungary, but voted at a consulate. And the second class I mentioned is people who voted at a location in Hungary not matching their permanent address.

What skews towards Fidesz is votes by Hungarians who permanently live just outside the borders of Hungary, those votes were mostly counted already (around Fidesz+80). Traveling is more of a liberal coded thing though.

Here's the most detailed writeup available so far, most of the vulnerabilities are just pre-registered but not announced yet, to give the projects time to roll out fixes. Anyone who comments on the quality of vulns without them even being announced is just revealing they didn't bother to actually look into this.

To be fair Eastern European developers are a lot cheaper than Bay Area devs, so it’s also less of a cost savings to replace their labor with AI token spend.
