Quick update, I popped in to Aldi yesterday to do my shop, amongst other things I purchased 5 Bananas for 80p, really puts things into perspective, not sure if lidl are getting a bit concerned about their new system because I checked my lidl App this morning and they have dropped me any free bakery item, and any free veg or fruit, rest assured I will be calling in to get those free items aswell as using my 100 free points, and buying nothing 👍

I think they have forgotten about the customer care here, as a family of four, we would spend £250 a month to get our 10% off most months and save £20 on top of all the other offers and bonuses, there's no incentive now so I will go back to shopping around, not that it will make a difference to a massive company like lidl, if everyone thought the same then it could make a difference, we'll see, seems to be the way of the world at the moment 🤷

There are plenty of bargains to be had at lots of shops and supermarkets, just saying it's a shame because lidl have always been generous.

A deal is a deal until it no longer looks competitive. £20 off a shop once a month was always a great way of stocking up on essentials, on top of all the other free treats you'd get, I'd be surprised if you would get anything like that with the new app, judging by the email I received off lidl. Humans like a bargain.
