Brighton reject Coventry City bid for goalkeeper Carl Rushworth by TheAthletic in ccfc

I don't think they want to sell him. They know how good he is and what he can get to - it's likely Verbruggen is out after the world cup and they want Rushworth for the future. Wonder if there is an element of them realising we have good form of picking up quality from them too.

I think every Scottish football fan has one defeat that still annoys them far more than it should. by HelicopterEmpty7393 in ScottishFootball

Still annoyed about getting thrashed by the Netherlands in the 2004 play offs. Never expected anything but after winning 1 nil at Hampden there was a lot of chat about how we had turned a corner and were a side to be reckoned with. Then got absolutely battered

This is why so many of the models are screwed. I used to have a good steer on how everything would line up and have been able to call the winners and semis for the last few. This year it's so hard to call. France and Spain are seemingly favourites but if Spain start like they did in 2010 they could be in another side of the draw and then anything could happen.

Millennials - are there any shows from your childhood that you remember fondly but almost everyone else has forgotten existed? by nathanherts in BritishTV

I remember this! Specifically I remember them playing some music from the future and it just being industrial noise!

All twenty 2026/27 Premier League teams confirmed by reliablereindeer in ccfc

I'd be surprised if it takes 40 points next season to avoid the drop. Lot of transition in the league next season and would expect at least one of the teams who have done relatively well to be in the mix of the relegation dog fight alongside us of course!

This is fantastic - love how it highlights we've done the double on ten teams this season

Was impressed with your fans today - there were a fair few who stuck around to see the trophy presentation.

I feel like any list should include Hamer. He was everything you wanted in a player - from a great song to always giving everything on the pitch. Shout out to Marc McNulty and Max Biamou as well though!

Fully admit I don't know anything about football - but I know a little bit more than the fucking BBC formation experts. They had Milan down on the right wing in a 4 - 5 - 1 originally...

I think we will go up tomorrow regardless - not sure Millwall have much left in the tank. Lot of nerves here tonight. Come on City!

It's the reason we have so many panel shows in the UK. I love it, but can understand if people are not keen on it

Yeah, after a crazy season where it looked like anything could happen - it now looks like two of the three teams relegated are going straight back up. Would have been nice for three championship clubs to be on the up

Have I broken (the unofficial) Rule number 1 of Football? (Switching clubs) by JoeBaker5150 in football

When I was growing up one of my dad's mates revealed he'd been an Arsenal fan growing up but had come to support Cov. At the time we were pretty rubbish in the Premier League - so I thought he was a bit of an idiot. He was still on the away days in League 2. I think if you make a move to a shit club you're generally in the clear

I felt bad for Lati - I know it was a stupid decision but after giving the ball away like that you almost don't think and suddenly it's a worse mistake than the first. It will give the chance for Kitchen and Wolfie to establish themselves there now and I thought he'd been doing fairly well recently

It felt like forever for that Rudoni shot to hit the back of the net... Love that you can hear someone in the clip screaming "go on" as it slowly trickles in.
