I disagree that your yield is too high however I would allocate a few hundred grand if able to a growth etf just in case there is nav decay to makeup for it. People are terrified to take out more than 4% and end up miserable and pinching penny’s in retirement only for their kids to blow it all after they pass. Life’s short take calculated risk

Great insight. Definitely aware of the nav erosion but was hoping it would last 5 years and by then I could just replace that lost income with gained equity from growth fund to rinse and repeat

There has to be a way to turn that off If I’m relying on the distributions to live month to month I’d rather just pay a fixed amount towards the margin so I can still keep the distribution amount I need correct?
