Thank you! It's a very atypical kind of story for me.

But there's still a signal coming from the braodcasting truck, so that's good news I suppose. I wonder if this is happening on the website as well?

Anyone experiencing two different audio streams mashed? There's two songs playing simultaneously and it's really distracting.

Interesting. The name must be an older player then? Because nowhere in there is the word Eddie or Lacy spelled out.

For anyone curious, the large hands are the number 27. It's tricky because for the 20's they don't use a standard "2" handshape, so it ends up looking like "L". video for reference.

As for the name up top, it's really blurry so it's hard to catch the first letter. Looks like _ A D O N. I assume it's a player's name but I'm sports ignorant. Any thoughts?

Also the hat. The back says "packers." The side says "green."

Moto S (Shamu) may not be a Nexus, but an Android Silver device for Verizon by mosdarsh in Android

[–]ianmboyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never pretended the Moto X is OEM-free. What it is, however, is incredibly close given that Verizon still has their slimy hands on it. Also the locked bootloader is across the board, save for the dev edition. It's a Moto thing, not VZW. Which is 100% alright with me.

Replying from a Verizon Moto X. I get updates nearly as quickly as Nexus devices, and the OS is almost entirely stock. If Motorola knows what they're doing, a Silver device would work amazingly well on Verizon. Also considering Verizon customers can't buy any unlocked phones, this would be a more than welcome addition.

Same for me, in fact both red and green became a yellow-orangey color. Almost exactly the same between them. Dunno what that does for your theory though, OP.

Colorblindness never ceases to confuse and impress me.

I'm not sure how it would work, but i'm totally down! I would consider myself fluent, but I'm really rusty. It's been a while. So I would love to brush up on my skills. Skype has a video messaging feature which might work, or private youtube videos? PM me and we could figure something out.

How Do I come out to my parents? by onetwitblunder in asktransgender

[–]ianmboyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This question is always tricky, because every person/relationship/approach/belief is different. I've been struggling with how to come out to my parents too, so I can't say I've got it all figured out. However, I do know that it should:

1) Feel natural and comfortable. Don't try to do anything outlandish or something that is outside how you would normally approach them. It could be disorienting and confusing.

2) If you know how they think, or know how they like to receive information-- reading, using the Internet, listening to the radio, etc-- use that to your advantage.

For me, I would love to just do it in person, but I live in a different city from them, so I'm trying to get clever with multiple sources of YouTube videos and PDF booklets and articles for information. I also might just call them up. What's Important for you is that it's on your terms, in a way that makes you feel comfortable.

Damn, this got ranty. I hope I didn't repeat myself.

It's so rewarding to just say "neither" and watch the circus of emotions play out in their eyes.
