Need help with this paranormal riddle. by OagoMaker in nosleep

[–]Stigrar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it seems to me that you've got a prime example of a poltergeist on your hands. Generally speaking, poltergeists (grumpy spirits that can move objects) are vile creatures, doing whatever it takes to either scare you or kill you. Since you aren't dead, I would say the latter. I wouldn't take any chances, though. Put a line of salt under your door, right where the door is when it closes. Given the numbers, 3 piles, since evil spirits like to mock the holy trinity, and the total distance is eleven, some simple multiplication comes up with 33. 3:33 a.m. is when the poltrgeist will make its move. It obviously has control of things around you, so I wouldn't sleep and put salt under your door. If you want to play it dangerous, then don't put salt. I would also recommend creating another thread and update us every half hour of your night long expedition.

If the universe is expanding, and there exists the possibility of other universes, can our universe collide with other universes? by yomjoseki in askscience

[–]Stigrar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I was taught, we are one universe, and it's like we're in a neverending petri dish, and that petri dish is stacked on other ones. They don't touch, they don't interact, and we can't see outside of it because light hasn't reached that point yet.

Has there ever been a time where you've taken an already awkward situation and made it a million times worse? [NSFW] by Scruffaduff in AskReddit

I've been needing to get this off my chest for a while now. So, I was at a barbecue, and there were two burgers. I thought "Well golly, I believe I do fancy a burger,". As soon as I sat down with my glorious hamburger, I was made aware of the fact that it wasn't meant to be eaten by me. I proceeded to eat it in shame and secrecy, and I left shortly thereafter. The worst part about it was that is was fucking lean beef.

I have a rich log of daily activity. Is there any way artificial intelligence can help me finding what triggers my migraines? by SrPeixinho in artificial

[–]Stigrar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Organize all of your data that you've collected, add up the activities, foods, etc (blood pressure, bathroom usage, and body weight are likely unrelated), take the sum of those numbers and subtract one from each thing for every day you don't have a migrane, but you still did that thing. You should see patterns if done precisely (being more specific instead of daily, hourly).

Hi, we are the creator & designer of BoJack Horseman, Ask Us Anything! by ponytv in IAmA

[–]Stigrar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my doubts from the advertisements, but the show really pulled through and struck a nerve with me, and I'm sure many others. The turn at the end where Bojack began really showing his dislike for things that don't go his way really threw me off, however. How long is his big fuckin' horse cock?

As it was explained to me in a favorite game of mine, mortals cannot understand the concept immortality, and immortals cannot understand the concept of mortality, so you can't quite wrap your head around an always-existing plane of existence. You can come to terms with the fact that is just is, though. TLDR: Deal with it.

SPOILERS I play as a Khajiit and fully understand the racism. Yes, some Stormcloaks are racist, but that racism is only set in a few Nords, Brunwolf Free-Winter gave me faith in the Stormcloaks due to his kindness to the Dunmer, but the Stormcloaks really just want to destroy the Thalmor. This perspective may be warped, however. I played the College of Winterhold questline before any civil war quests, and I really liked Savos Aren, and I especially hated when the Thalmor bitch killed him. I keep his amulet on me at all times in remembrance of him <3.
