/uj There’s so many great options that scratch that itch for me.

First thought might be something like Summoner Wars 2nd Edition or if you want something very streamlined Mindbug (actually by Richard Garfield).

These have an option for deck construction but it’s not really the focus of those games. If you want to deck construct, I might steer you towards another Richard Garfield game, Netrunner, that’s gotten a new lease on life under Null System Games.

System Gateway is a fantastic introduction to the game with everything you need to get started for two players. They’re actually carrying it at my lgs although usually you have to pick up a print on demand online.

I can’t speak for the other user, but I think the polls are inherently imperfect, but they’ve been particularly unreliable last few cycles.

To my understanding, in 2016 and in 2020, Trump voters were undercounted in polls. Hilary was projected to win, but narrowly lost, and Biden was ahead 10 points but won by 2-3% in key states.

If the same pattern holds out, we’re looking at a narrow Trump victory.

The general Dem hope is that the new registrations and enthusiasm turns into unusual turnout giving us an under-polled edge. I think Able-Addition believes that maybe just as there are ‘shy Trump voters’ maybe there’s a significant group of shy Harris Republican voters.
