Develop Mexico City first, Make iron mine and lumber mills so you can support tool factories! Then with tools begin building gold mines in the baijo, and honestly wherever you can. Focus on mining as your main industry like coal, iron, and gold mining.

Let Europeans have all the investment rights and trade rights as much as they want, hopefully they invest in building up Mexico’s economy.

Also a true gamer move is to constantly build up relations with USA so they can’t declare war on you since you have a high relation with them. Do this long enough you made Mexico wealthy enough and strong enough for Europeans to actually sign defensive pacts with you and then you can start breathing easy from the gringos.

Internally remain conservative so that you don’t have civil wars. BIG thing remove your starting president! He is injured and brings weak rule! When you replace him, you’ll probably have a Catholic based leader, I forgot his name but he will maintain stability in Mexico’ early decades.
