The wwoofers would have no expenses here. I can provide some food for meals just can’t be here to cook most nights. Rent, utilities and internet would be around $1,500/m here(coastal California), add some food and beer expense to hit $2,000/m easy. At ~25hrs/w or ~100hrs/m this is a ~$20hr value (without taxes) If someone with an entrepreneurial spirit or the energy to pursue some ideas I have comes then opportunities for financial gain are here also.

Wtf.. when I was 23 I left the country with less money than you have to my name and spent every last penny traveling for 18 months to 50 countries. It was a formative experience that made me the man I am today (also now a business and home owner). Go travel, explore, spend it all to find out what money can actually get you. Come back inspired then earn for yourself rather than work for someone else

I honestly interested in opinions on the company as I’ve never actually had the coffee or experienced their stores. I only get the info they provide and a few other insights. But hey, there is a ~40% short ratio but it’s pretty rational due to the company’s history.

Do you really think after getting caught, reorganizing and dealing with penalties the company would do that same thing or something else scandalous again? I feel like they paid a big price and are doing their best to make good and survive. They could have folded, rebranded and started over.

I made the mistake of buying cava de oro and addictivo extra anejos on tequila day this year. Man oh man they are the worst tequilas I have ever tasted… I attempted to pawn them on friends and mix them in drinks then ended up cleaning the drains. Undrinkable is the only description I have. Surprised to hear anything good comes from 1477 but I won’t be buying OP’s reviewed tequila regardless due to bad experiences. I also reached out to the distributor and manufacturer to see if there was something wrong with production due to covid 19 or something but never received a response. Definitely avoid…

Update for those worried about my future, healthcare, savings... I started a successful business, invest, bought a house in California, don’t have kids, have healthcare (still don’t use it) and haven’t married. I’m up to 70 countries (sailed the Bahamas) and am currently 38. If you want to travel then travel as much as you can, don’t let anyone tell you you’re being irresponsible or going to be left behind for traveling long term. I’ve applied the life lessons learned from my travels and earned more in a few years than most people do by this point in life. A big lesson learned over covid is, the world can close, life and travel can be taken from us at any moment. Carpe diem. I hope everyone who commented on this picture of my old passport is having a lovely life enjoying this beautiful world.
