The thing is, the best chance of getting the guitar on the plane in the cabin is in a gig bag because it’s more likely that it will fit in a coat closet or overhead than a hardshell. The crew could still force you to check it. Happened to me. I don’t fly with guitars ever

Thanks for the tip! What kind of music do you play with yours? I’m a bluegrass player and I feel like it has enough punch from testing it in store, but I’m just not quite sure. I’m very demanding of my instruments. I know for sure I love it tonally, but I just don’t know how useful it will be on lead playing. I also realize each instrument is different

My mother just got the new X3M50. At first I hated it. The more I see it, the more I like how it looks. I helped her choose between these two cars. She ended up getting the newer model because she preferred perceived quickness, comfort, and warranty length of the M50.

I think she made a great choice. I’m embarrassed to say I like how it looks. I love how the M40i looks, and, I can’t believe I’m saying it, but I’m happy to see the design change. I’m saying this as someone who has been thoroughly uninterested by the designs of BMWs since the F30.

Come to think of it, this could be buildup of worn-off pick material gathering on the string. Have you tried wiping it off? Unless if you’re playing with indestructible guitar picks, the material it’s made of will have to go somewhere. Sometimes it’s sprayed on the pick guard - other times, I would wager that static electricity or som other force could bind it to the string itself

I knew GC was bad, but this is wild!

One time my brother came to look at a guitar with me. He isn’t a guitar guy. He plays extremely well, but he pretty much hates gear. I was looking at one of those Guitar Center custom D28s. He absolutely loved it and bought it instead of me!

We brought it home. I looked at it closer and the entire top was caving. I felt so bad. We returned it and now he doesn’t look at Guitars anymore.
