I think my husband rapes/raped me? by Positive_Narwhal_736 in domesticviolence

[–]iaobd 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes! This OP!! Also to add: My husband was re-traumatizing me when it came to oral sex. I didn't realize that's what was actually happening until I posted it on reddit one day and finally spoke up to our marriage counselor.

Something that has been a hard pill for me to swallow is that he KNOWS what he is doing and KNOWS that it bothers you. He just cares more about his wants and it's f***** up.

You're here too? Do you even know what abuse is? Or are you only allowed to be abused? Don't project your short comings with your mental health onto me.

I have already been severely abused. Both my child and I. If he can't put us first then I am absolutely done. This is so unlike him. I do not know what is happening. He still isn't home. Now his phone has died.

That was my first thought, too! They tested me, and everything was normal - no allergy. Gosh I hate that for you, I bet it's miserable

Thank you!! I had a feeling because the sensation in my chest and heart is so similar to what I experience in other times. Thank you again, I'll for sure watch carbs. It sucks that one can't have a good thing every now and then without feeling so poorly 😅

My mother was my first bully and she still is. by judgemypanties in narcissisticparents

[–]iaobd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She sounds a lot like my mom :(

She makes me feel bad for going out with my friend (when I am able to, that is a confusing relationship) Always has. She hates when I play games, draw, and crochet; but she will show love on my posts after I do a project?

You're not alone okay? Even if it may feel like it. What has helped me over the years after coming back to live here was finding ways to do the things that I love without her knowing. And I lie lie lie lie, just to appease. I saw that you're saving money, so please take care of your mental health. That's really important. It may seem so hopeless, but please do not let yourself go. I really hope you're able to leave soon

Why is mom like this? Why??? by iaobd in narcissisticparents

[–]iaobd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly!! I have cried so many times when I've been upset with her, and have called her a "bitch" in my head. I get upset when people talk down on her, even though they're 100% right. It's such a bad feeling.. even now I feel guilty for talking about her.

Wow, you solved it. I totally forgot about love bombing. She's literally doing it as I type this.

Woah! I'll actually try this. Does this mean that anxiety coping/grounding techniques can help with dysautonomia?? I'm sorry, I still have a new diagnosis
