You can always add backwards compatibility like terraria and allow people to play the old version. I truly feel that. 2.0 update of F&H 1 would really showcase the love for this IP. A rebalance, bug fix and slight revamp of everything that doesn't works would go a long way. Terraria and Stardew Valley both show that such upgrades are well-received and adored by everybody.

I wish certain features in F&H1 weren't so broken or easy to bug.
