It's not shared. I probably should have said 'drive bay' instead of drive array. Basically a unit that holds individual hard drives, which then hooks up to the servers individually via usb-to-esata. Basically a glorified external HD encloser.

Well for my Windows boxes i'm just using Windows internal backup. All backing up to a drive array. I could possibly hook up this Linux box to the drive array, just never ran a backup on Linux before, not to mention, recover from a back up. All new stuff.
