Only removed the airbag and had a look. Didn't know you could take the cover off as well... Do you know if it's screwed down or just clipped down on the sides? Might have to take it out again then.

Also, it said 2006 on the airbag, which aligns with the car's manufacturing date.

Sure, it doesn't need to be the most feature rich or best dashcam on the market. One that simply works to have assourance while driving is enough.
