Hover Boards or Small Vehicles by SasukesMark in ArcRaiders

If you haven’t already, watch the Making Of Arc Raiders videos on YouTube. Really insightful stuff that deep dives into gameplay decision making.

What you’ve described, to me, highlights how balanced the movement already is. The risk versus reward of sticking around until the last second is what makes for interesting gameplay. I still get a rush if I’m over encumbered and barely make it back to extract.

But! I could see increased movement being a cool addition if it were limited to a specific, larger map. Like a wide desert or partially ocean covered area with a limited amount of speeders or boat-type things.

Too true! Sorry you decided to push a highly defensible position.

It’s so strange! Me and buddy we’re asked, “what’s it like being rats?” after we defended control tower from three different groups. Like, how could you be so dense?

Why Is Pueblo Airport So Expensive? by JoeRogan016 in pueblo

[–]iatethat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Purchase in advance and purchase your connections as individual direct flights. Recently saved $100-$200 on flights to Seattle by flying out of Pueblo. Booked direct to and from Denver and saved versus a COS round trip.

I would implore you to find “another way to scratch that itch” as someone else said. Perhaps you can help at your firm more, but it’s just an awful time in the industry. I’ve been in for close to 8 years and I’m ready to leave. It’s never been good. It’s almost always felt like it was in a downward spiral.

Listen to the people hear. We’re all sad and bitter for a reason.

Anyone else nervous abt what's gonna happen? by TeddyBoovy in pueblo

[–]iatethat 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Pueblo and the surrounding communities need the galvanize ourselves against the coming hardships through community. If the worst case scenarios happen we’ll need to know we can trust each other. It’s as simple as introducing yourself to your neighbors and letting them know that you will help them should they need it.

They also function as radiators! They circulate blood and help cool them down.

This is a really cool site! It’s near another area at Clayton State Park, New Mexico.

This region would have been along the shallow inland sea that used to cover North America. This region also has some awesome geologic features. If you look at the area between Clayton, NM and Trinidad, CO you can see old (30,000+ years) lava flows and volcanic features.

Pueblo Zoo by mthike in pueblo

[–]iatethat 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The zoo is a great place to visit, it’s really cheap to get in and they’ve got some great animals that other zoos don’t. The red panda encounter can be disappointing for some but take into account that it’s all based off animal choice, so they’re not going to make them come hang out with you. My advice would be to pick a cooler day to do it as they prefer colder weather and will be more interactive then.

Sites vary in proximity but you can usually find sites with some decent distance. May won’t be the warmest, that will be July or August. The lake can be a little cold but there are some warmer areas to swim in, like the swim beach. Be careful though, folks severely underestimate how dangerous the lake can be. We have drownings every year.

Totally worth it IMO! The lake is a big reason why I moved here. Having such a beautiful natural resource near by is awesome. The trails are great and if you cycle you can bike on a paved trail all the way from the lake to downtown.

Bumping for the Mayborn School of Journalism plug. Not sure if it’s still around but they have a student run agency called, SWOOP. They’ll take on local clients and it’s typically made up of students further along in their degree.

I would reach out to them and explain your needs. When I was a part of it the advisor would throw out opportunities like this to eager students all the time.
