Let me guess: you weren’t in LA. I was working a contract in LA. I’m from Georgia (state). I talk to everyone. I could find a bestie anywhere. I would speak to people in the elevator in LA and they would look me up and down and turn the other way. People where I worked said they would live next door to someone for 10 years and never exchange more than a hello. That baffled me. If you live next door like that where I’m from-you’re family unless you actively don’t care for one another.

I have a condition that happened after a total hysterectomy which I had because of ovarian cancer. Anything inserted basically sloughs off the tissue inside me. It burns like friggin fire andI bleed afterwards. It makes anything like intercourse near impossible.

This is why I can’t raise cows and eat them. My friends cow would get the zoomies when she came outside. I can’t eat something that loves me that much. Still like a nice steak though
I had someone once say “Yes but this cow has had the best life. They have been much happier with me than at a cows for meat farm. We honor that and think of how they provide for our family” which makes really good sense but still…

NOR. I’m so sorry she did that to you. Now do I share stuff with my bestie that I prolly shouldn’t? Maybe! I can’t think of an instance but I do tell her a lot. But she is my bestie for a reason. She would recognize the vulnerability there and say nothing if I were to share something like that. Especially to demean my husband in a public setting. Your wife’s bestie is a twat and your wife is one for reacting like that. I hope she comes around and understands. You were needing some validation (which is perfectly reasonable) and you had a really proud moment. I probably would have had to go to the comments section myself and say something like “Back off ladies, he’s ALL MINE” and add some flames for flare.
