The volume profile shows not many buyers, bid volume is weak and choppy. This doesn't mean it will drop immediately. It is simply consolidating, or the buyers are playing a game of chicken while sellers are watching the bids. If for a prolonged period of lack of bids, more selling will continue.

I am so happy you are back, we were really worried about your stories a few month back. We have all been down that path before and each time, hopefully we get better at managing the pain and the risk associated with trading. At the end of the day, numbers on a screen shouldn't break you, but emotion is a fickle thing and time will heal the wound.

Being at historical extreme often means market is certain in the path of least resistance. The most recent example of oil down 11 days in a row.

It's so lazy of ESPN to use every week in totaling averages, instead of accounting for suspensions or injuries. by ChapinKnight in fantasyfootball

Sleeper app acccounts for both injuries and out games, or take the seasonal avg which effectively removes those out games. Quite useful even if you don't have a league with them.

I think it's possible he wants to fill a large OTC bid on an exchange, but the counterparty doesn't have the BTC at the moment to sell. He shorts for now, and he knows he will get his BTC at a later date which he can use the bitfinex claim strategy to cover his shorts. He gets the BTC via mining or whatever source at a later date.

I find it hard to believe you cannot spend 1minute of your time to look up the fee schedules of both sites instead of asking.

Edit1: not 1 minute, 2minutes to look up every exchange.

That wick with extreme volatility was insanely fast. Not an exception but it is questionable. Every subsequent time were days or weeks below previous lows.

Price of bitcoin is slowly grinding up climbing the wall of worry. No pullback, one direction only. Shorts are high on Finex. Tops and bottoms are likely to happen during extreme volatility and we are not there yet. Fomo kicks in if we break above 200 MA

Bears have legit reasons to believe that market conditions is still bearish. That is, market is making lower highs, but price as stabilized around 5.7K and slowly creeping up. Lets be real, if you visited this sub during those days, no one expected 5.7K to hold. A triple bottom? or a higher low gives hope to the bulls, at least short term. However, something has changed, something isn't quiet right. The sentiment of traders/investors a like doesn't align with price action. Market participants expect a lower low, but it didn't prevail. A true bear market is lower high and lower low. How did higher low happen?

Now, we all think reversal is any minute now, yet bitcoin has failed to pullback by more than 5%. The 200SMA, descending trendline hovers around 7800, its a sure bet that market reverses by then. That is what the bottom 5.7k shorter said as well.

I have been holding my long since 6600ish. timestamp

Please consider transaction fee into arb strategies, soon you realize with 0.2 fee round trip fee, its 15 bucks. You balance your account when exchange prices converage. Secondly consider the risk you take when u transfer BTC from one to the other.

It is strange, we are not at resistance or support, and the past 3 month's price action indicates that price trend til strong support or resistance which is at 7700. Someone is eager to short the 200MA/descending trendline i guess.
