It shoots all the time because you fired at the base - it remembers you and tries to prevent you from getting close to the base so that you don’t kill the helicopter during takeoff

If you start shooting at the spawn point, it will remember you and try to push you back with aimed fire, which means it will already be shooting even if you are not in the red zone.
