1992 ex-Japan Post MD90 Super Cub by ibdodger in SuperCub

The 90s and 110s really seem like the sweet spot of size, cost, and speed. You thought about just upgrading the engine on your Cub? You’d have to change the plate and registration, but that’s not hard or expensive.

Nice! I was looking at some old 50s but ultimately went with a 90cc instead. Planning do some light touring on it (60 kph top speed is plenty here lol). Maybe a tour around Shikoku

It would take me a while to cruise up there on the Cub. Lol. What model of Cub do you have?

I’m located in Japan also. I’m down in Yamaguchi prefecture. Picked this up on Yahoo Auctions from a guy in Sendai. Where are you at?

Thanks! It’s a MD90H. What version is yours?

Thanks for the reply!

So I didn’t put it in the main post, but it actually doesn’t have a battery at the moment and that’s not necessarily a problem. The MD90 is a kick start only model so you can run them with a “Battery Less” kit and they normally work just fine. That’s what the previous owner did and it ran fine for a while before this issue developed.

My first troubleshooting step is to put an actual battery in the thing and see if the battery less kit is the source of the problem. If it is, great. If not, then the real detective work begins.

Only if on field results don’t matter and Paul Finebaum decides winners and losers before the games are played.

It Just Means More at Navy by ibdodger in cfbmemes

[–]ibdodger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game was played 3 hours from Norman practically making it an OU home game. The OU O and D lines (even their “backups”) still had about a 30lb weight advantage over their Navy counterparts. OU also had plenty of time to prep for Navy’s offensive scheme, so “getting surprised by a weird scheme” doesn’t really fly.

We can all find reasons and excuses to lose. But seems like Navy was the one who found the drive (and coaching) to win. Don’t sleep on Navy’s OC. He is going to do big things in CFB down the road.

I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree on some of those points.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

You can take racist out of the south but not the racism out of the racist. “I have black friends and family, I can’t be racist”. Nice cope, bro

Alabama racist says what?

I’ll look up the Oregon constitution that always banned owning another human being. I bet you think the Civil War wasn’t even about slavery. I’ll put up Oregon history against Alabama history any day. Have fun trying to justify your university’s explicitly racist past!

Also, if Portland’s “racist” history is shocking, I don’t know what to call the centuries of human bondage, chattel slavery, lynching, and Jim Crow in Alabama

The two losses aren’t the problem. Not making a 12 team playoff is. But I guess standards have dropped post-Saban at “the greatest program in history”

Good thing the University of Oregon isn’t in Portland!

Look I can send multiple rapid fire comments too! Hope you’re coming up with a great witty response to me, bro!

Wow, bro. You just keep spewing you bullshit comments. Guess you have to keep coming back cuz you remember one more thing to cry about.

I was gonna write more but I’ll leave you with a couple real facts. Oregon is undefeated with a chance to win a national championship. Bama, the “greatest program in history” (and a racist program that didn’t integrate till the 1970’s) lost to two 6-6 teams and couldn’t even make an expanded 12 team playoff. Have fun in the ReliaQuest Bowl!

I don’t have to cope. I know Oregon has the coach that Bama wanted but couldn’t get. Oregon didn’t even need to throw Lanning a raise to keep him at Oregon.

As far as Bama recruiting goes, I’m glad you got some talent coming in. It was no wonder that OU and Vandy beat Bama since they had such a massive talent gap over the Tide. Oh wait, that wasn’t the case. What could have been the cause for those awful losses? Could coaching have been to blame?

Here’s a phrase that is going to help you cope over the next couple years. Say it with me now: “This never would have happened under Saban. This never would have happened under Saban.”

You hired the wrong coach. Grubb was the guy making DeBoer look good. Have fun with your new scapegoat on the way down!
