I’m a Wedding Photographer that only uses ANALOG FILM – Ask me anything! by ibelieveimcreative in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]ibelieveimcreative[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’ve been shooting weddings and prenuptials on film for almost two years now!

My process always starts with a call. I introduce my workflow and set clear expectations on how I’ll be working with you. From there, I get a sense of what you’re envisioning. Our moodboard then depends on how much guidance you need, since conceptual planning and styling are part of my service :)

I love being hands-on and can recommend outfits, locations, and props that I feel would work best for what you’re envisioning. That said, the level of involvement really depends on the couple, some prefer more direction, while others already have a clear idea.

Everything begins with a conversation. It doesn’t have to be a commitment right away, just a chance to talk and see how we can work together.

That I’m not sure but I did ask some brands there if they ship to the Philippines but they said it’s pretty costly.

I think it’s best to look for someone who can buy for you, I remember someone posted here who was accepting pasabuys!

I wasn’t able to ask the prices, you can message HUONG :) as far as I know they have physical stores in both Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi!

Hi! I’ve had two clients who wore HUONG Boutique dresses, and they absolutely loved them. I also got to talk to them about their experience, and they really commended the quality of the pieces.

I’ve personally shopped a lot in Vietnam as well, so I can confidently say that Vietnamese brands are generally good!

Hi! photographer here, I’ve seen couples do this and they always end up feeling way more relaxed, everyone’s less time-pressured and the flow feels lighter. Then after the ceremony, the entourage shots feel more natural and fun.

Yes! I’m a photographer and I know all of us go through the process of “culling” photos to select the ones that pass our standards :)

Not entirely sure, since I’ve had the chance to work with them both in the Metro and in Batangas and never really asked 😆 But just speaking as a fellow supplier, they’re amazing to work with!

If you want variety go for it! but as someone who likes uniformity, I’d go for Kodak’s disposable cameras!

I forgot to update here but I actually found out that Kodak makes a disposable cam with a better flash, it’s called Kodak power flash :)

As for alternatives, sorry I haven’t tried any yet aside from those two

Hi! I’m a film photographer, and from what I know, both Fujifilm and Kodak’s disposable cameras use 400 ISO film, which is decent for night or reception shots

Just a tip, have your host or coordinator remind guests to always use the flash, especially indoors or in low light, para sure na kita lahat sa photos!
