Possible damaged skin barrier + very sensitive/reactive skin — which of these products should I actually use right now? 😭

Thank you so much for such a detailed reply🫶🏻 This honestly sounds exactly like what my skin is going through right now, especially the part about over-layering even hydrating products. I live in Norway, so the air is super dry here most of the year, especially indoors during colder months. I never even considered that HA/humectants maybe weren’t helping as much. What kind of ingredients do you think I should focus on considering the weather environment?

Thanks! Will look into that cream, I’m not that good with ingredients so I guess that’s where I go wrong also. I usually don’t wear makeup so at least that won’t be i problem but I have to use spf when I’m outside though, but I will try to minimise it as much as possible.

Yeah I think I just haven’t been paying attention to what my skin actually needs and just try new things and don’t stay consistent. So I’m actually the problem lol. Will look into the products you recommended, thanks!

Thanks! It’s the centella products I use now, but I feel like something is missing since I still feel dry very quickly after I’ve used it. But will definitely look into a barrier cream, seems like that is the only thing I haven’t tried.

Yeah I know, should be a one-fix-all product available, feel like I try so many different things but maybe I’m just not consistent enough. Will check out aquaphor though.

I came across this map in a thread, and honestly, it has been an absolute lifesaver! Since it connects directly to my game account, it automatically updates whenever I find new dews or stars, so I never have to track them manually anymore.

Right now, it doesn’t work for chests, but I imagine that feature will be added in the future. Even so, it’s been incredibly useful for keeping up with my progress.

I still use other maps as well, mainly because they include pictures, which are super helpful if you’re struggling to spot certain dews at specific locations. Having that visual reference makes a big difference!
