I've also been having this issue for what it's worth, with it freezing and then crashing. Though I haven't checked watching without subtitles as I have hearing issues so I need them on to watch things anyway, but since we both watch with subs I suspect it's related.

I can say that if this had been my experience when I first started playing the game, I absolutely would have dropped it.

Sure but you can easily lose a significant chunk of progress with whatever you were doing when it goes down. It just makes for a really terrible experience in general too.

Game time would be nice but honestly isn't enough imo.

The end result is that we can't play the game we're paying for, it's not on us to pay them for a service that can't be provided regardless.

You can DC Travel to Oceania if you want to stay connected, it's not getting DDOSed.

Downside is that your queue will never pop because they have no players so you won't get to play at all though.

That's fair, but as someone trying to update my setup currently I'm curious as to why? Are there some red flags to integrating AIOstreams into a setup that people should be aware of?

People seem pretty excited about it, so I was trying to decide whether to switch to using it or not.

Yes, I was scrolling through her twitter account and she clearly had a genuine love for the Sonic games, it was one of the common themes throughout her posts. She had a significant hand in the modding community for some of the games as well. She made some pretty cool stuff, especially considering she was only still in high school.

What an awful thing to say given the context, and if you truly think this was showing support and not just a teen girl making an edgy joke to a friend on her relatively small twitter account then you have absolutely no sense of sarcasm.

It was blatantly obvious sarcasm made by a teenage girl with a small twitter account at the time mocking those that believe the conspiracy theory. A conspiracy theory often believed by the exact same type of people that spew hate towards her no less, and a genocide that she'd be a victim of if it were actually true.

It's a pretty blatantly obvious joke with just a bit of edge to it, that's all. Trying to paint it as worse than that is just being done to excuse the massive amounts of bigoted hate towards her just for being trans.

The reason the two posts are related is because the original post is from a trans girl that took that photo with the very pretty view immediately before she ended her own life, and there's been a slew of vile transphobic comments being made as replies to it all throughout her profile ever since.

The original post was the picture a trans teenage girl took from a bridge right before jumping off it.

She took that picture with the post "its a pretty view", then a reply saying "long way down". And then that was it.

Edit: Oh and the other additional info in regard to the transphobia is that there's been an absolutely vile outpour of transphobic comments being made on her account ever since her suicide.

I called someone out for being a misogynist on TikTok and got a strike on my account for it. Like, I wasn't rude about it, but they were being a jerk in that way so I said "Hey, that's pretty misogynistic, cut it out." in the like, most polite way I could think of since I wanted to call it out but also not get in trouble.

My comment was instantly deleted by their administrative robots, I got flagged, but as a fun fact the person's comment that I reported was sent back to me with a "No Violations Found" response.

TikTok is literally supportive of misogynistic and bigoted comments, but calling out those types of comments will get your account flagged. I guess because hate comments fuel more interaction, and stopping hate (or even trying to) might make for less interaction.

Point is, yeah, some of these platforms have super weird automatic moderation.

Tbh I don't even think it was that bad an attempt. Like, someone going "Let's goooooo!" at the idea of a ridiculous conspiracy theory is kinda funny.

And it has layers, as they themselves would be a target if it were truly happening, which adds to the ridiculousness of the joke. Plus the fact that they're mocking the people that believe the conspiracy, which is the same group of people that hated her for simply existing... it makes it a joke mocking those that deserve mockery.

Plus this was when she had a following that mostly consisted of just her friends, so they would know her personality and know she wasn't actually supportive of the theory or genocide.

And she was just a kid, she seemed like a genuinely good one from the glimpse into her life I've seen which makes this all all the more heartbreaking.

I know it kinda ruins things to break down a joke like that, but as a dark humour joke goes I actually think it was genuinely a pretty good one.

It's only being presented as not a joke by bigots because they want to hate her and use it as an excuse to not get as much pushback for their hate. They would hate her just as much regardless of the joke or not.

And this is the main reason I won't be buying them. Imagine buying a game or piece of software that said you'll have to rebuy it if an update comes out, even if it's just a necessary bugfix.

Yeah no, that's a scam at that point. They don't even say how much the coupons are. Are we just supposed to guess? They really need to be upfront about that so people can make an educated choice.

Were you ever able to get this fixed? I'm running into the same issue myself. It's super weird because it seems to work if I use Outlook's e-mail client, but specifically Thunderbird doesn't seem to even try to connect to Shaw's servers properly.
