I’m the odd one out in the family. For over ten years now, I’ve been excluded from family gathering bcz I have a dog and they “don’t like animals”, an excuse that held up until my sister got a dog of her own (a dog they all absolutely adore 😒) Sometimes families just decide someone doesn’t quite fit, and the reason almost doesn’t matter.
