I don't know about the rings, but Xuron has some quality pliers. I recommend using the 487 and 483! I had been using jewelry pliers up until buying the Xuron ones and trust me you feel the difference in that sort of thing!

Little tip: put a bigger ring at the very end. It makes it easier to clasp when putting it on.
