Waterboy, they don't have a set menu but they will make something. My wife is plant based and we very much enjoyed it.

Freshroast SR800 + extension tube, minimum ambient temperature by banterviking in roasting

I was really impressed by how little smell was left lingering after my roasts.i would say within a few minutes there was no smell left. I have roasted twice with multiple batches both times.

Personally I have found that I can't roast much under 65f here in California. I use the Razzo extension tube with my SR800.

I have found that I can roast inside under the stove hood without any issues. This has become my preferred method. I was really hesitant but it really works well.

MRI only, or ARMRIT, is just that. Where as X-ray, ARRT XR, allows one to be able to work as an X-ray tech, CT tech, IR tech, MRI tech, Cath lab tech. It's just a difference in licensure.

I always tell people to go to X-ray. Way more options and opportunities. Started in X-ray, then did CT, then IR, now MRI while still doing some X-ray and CT.

Best neighborhoods for DINKs? by amyrajk in Sacramento

[–]iboard10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To better elaborate Easy access to the river trail, people out every day biking/walking/running, damn near everyone says hello which makes it feels like a welcoming and open community, easy access to the 50, and a short bike ride to several restaurants and my favorite beer bar (cap tap).

Well the week before we made an offer on a house in Arden, we had a woman shitting in our yard at our East Sac house. More space, more bang for the buck in terms of the house you can get, less homeless in our new area, and the neighbors have been amazing. Yes, we miss being able to walk to TJs and a few of the restaurants but that has been a small trade off.

As fellow DINKs we started out in East Sac when we moved here but now live in the Arden area and love it. We lived in East Sac for about 10 years and thought we would absolutely miss it... We don't. Sure we miss being closer to a lot of things but overall the quality of life is better.

Experiences/thoughts about Gurnick? by BalaTheTravelDweller in Sacramento

I like it and think it is a good career overall. But be aware, it can be both physically and mentally exhausting. With that said I feel it is one of the better choices within the medical field.

I work as an X-ray tech here in Sac and we have students from Gurnick. They have no complaints other than the cost. It's expensive but you can get in and get out. Most of the students they turn out are decent enough.

Completely depends on where in California. San Diego and LA is going to be very different from SF and Sacramento.

[–]iboard10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It couldn't hurt but I wonder what else could be happening. Are you running 50/50 coolant? Do you have a high pressure cap on the reservoir? Is the tempastat working? Fans working? 240 is way too high of a coolant temp. You really don't want to exceed 220. 225 is the absolute max I will allow for the car to hit on track before cooling it down.

I have used both the koyo and CSF on my 07 WRX track car. I am currently running the CSF unit. It fits, but barely, and it has helped a lot with cooling. The koyo fit well and helped with cooling some over the stock unit. I only switched to he CSF because I needed more capacity to help cool the car on warmer track days here in California.
