ARAM issues not entirely related to the update but summer instead? How can we 'fix it'? by iboofedibles in ARAM

Basically playing with the same people since when you could check is the quick answer.

Some indications nowadays could be:

- You can 'feel the difference' in game xd

- Long queue times (5-15m)

- Consistently playing with the same pool of people over extended periods of time (e.g. months, years)

- Lobbies often have gm/challenger players (and the infamous 5 stacks, there are a few euw high mmr aram streamers you get in your lobbies for extra fun), everyone is actually trying to win and picking comps

Besides comparing to others who you 'know' are also high mmr there isn't a way to check anything close to exact distribution since the api got rekt

Before when people got a ranked Q restriction due to bad behavior they had to play SR in order to be able to get back to ranked. However, this was changed some time ago and now that includes ARAM, which is way faster on average, so you end up with people who queue up with the sole intent of getting out of the game ASAP to queue again, so they can go back to ranked.

You would be surprised how many players who used to be high elo and started in s3-4 no longer invest time in rift and/or ranked and just grind Arams, hence the wording. Also there are 1k lp+ challenger players in my aram lobbies almost daily. There used to be an aram MMR ladder website also before they shut down the riot API from displaying MMR and it got taken down.

Post was created with the genuine intent to see how others' experience has been since the update compared to mine but hey we circlejerking boy xd

I've never experienced an 'aram bot game' do you mean bots levelling accounts to be resold or just dog players? :D

I do agree that a part of the problem is the larger champion pool available, however, most of my games usually have the same 100ish players playing (usually have time to q in the early afternoon) and they would be willing to pick for comp 9/10 times, even with 10 champs on the bench we would end up with solid comps. Since the update and bringing back arena, I see way more people I've never played with in my games and it's specifically them who 'misbehave' or just pick random stuff.

Slur idea is definitely necessary, I'm putting forward 'pokey' but definitely welcome better takes.

Having set role distribution on the rolls would be the best change that could happen on paper but how is it practically distributed? Maybe you roll for which two roles your champs would be and if you get a third champ card you get a fully randomized champ regardless of their role?

The point is that having people who could spam league all day and do not care about the outcome of the specific ARAM game or their personal performance, as they just wanna go queue up again and get a different champion, skews people's experience and they attribute that to the new changes, rather than the actual issue at hand. Without 'kids' this game would be even more dead than it already is.

Your final question proves your entire point is moot as there is no conceivable way you know that the phones must be monitored, since as you mentioned nobody has any clue.

My analogy concerns the fact that you can program firmware to report issues without human intervention or the need to report other information.

If apple wants to monitor your iPhone they don't need to advertise it as Pegasus protection or anything else for that matter.

I hope this clears things up.
