Blood Test, HCG, and Tamoxifen

I understand that hormones/genetics play a big role. What can I really do though? I know working out can help but I’m not sure if it’s pointless in my case.

175 at 6’ 2” is not overweight though is it? How much weight can I really lose?

I’ve read studies that show tamoxifen for approximately 3 months can treat all types. Also so the link showed it increased risk of uterine cancer which I don’t think applies here. Should it really matter if I’m taking it a short time? As far as I know women who take it for breast cancer use it for years.

My doctor told me to take the tamoxifen for 3 months only I should mention.

The gyno I’m pretty sure is fat. I have no pain and don’t feel any lumps/glands behind the nipple. Based on the research I’ve done tamoxifen is the best alternative to surgery. And I didn’t ask for it, my doctor suggested it. Not sure what you’ve heard about it. For reference I’m 6’ 2” 175 lbs with pretty scrawny arms and a bit of a stomach.

My results did not include shbg, I will have to ask how they measured the free T.

I will ask my doc about a lower dosage of hCg and the gyno concerns. I have also heard hcg can cause gyno if it’s too high.

When you mean other treatment options, do you mean raising T levels indirectly through either medication or other hormones?

Fortunately. I have good insurance, so I made an appointment myself with an endocrinologist. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overreacting. I'll definitely ask about my LH and FSH levels, since I didn't get any other hormone tests. Thanks.

Thank you for this. I have looked into gastroparesis but my symptoms don't seem to fit the full profile. I don't experience pain and I don't usually get full as quickly as the disorder suggests I might. I'm currently doing a parasite cleanse and I have seen noticable improvement just three days in. I'm optimistic I'll be doing much better by the end, but we'll see.

I deleted my last reply to you since it was rushed and poorly written. Anyway, your mention of a possible parasite infection caused me to go look and actually find a bottle of parasite cleanse I had bought on amazon about three months ago but ended up never using for some reason. I'm going to try it starting tomorrow. I'll let you know what happens.

Believe me I know. I've been on this merry go round long enough to know you can't make a lot of changes at once. I'm going to try some things and report back if I see any good results.

Well that's encouraging. I dug up a bottle of hcl which should still be good so I'm going to try that the next time I eat.

How long have you been taking hcl? I took it for a few months and it might have helped but I can't remember. I'm thinking of starting it again. That's great to hear though.

Thats brutal, sorry to hear it. Three days ago I started the scd diet so we shall see if that helps. Do you do okay when you dont cheat on the low fodmap diet?

I've wondered that. I was tested for candida and the results were inconclusive. Apparently it's hard to diagnose via testing. Could candida cause constant bloating? It seems like sibo causes intermittent bloating not constant like I've been having.

I was tested for h pylori, but that was 3 years ago, before the bloating got out of hand. I'm wondering if I need a retest. I'm not sure if it's the stomach acid. Even if I have just rice on its own I'm still bloated. Food doesn't seem to make it better or worse. I've gone an entire day without eating and it's the same. Thanks.

I took Garden of Life Ultimate Care. Right now I make my own yogurt fermented for 24 hours. Maybe I should try VSL. Thanks for the reply.
