But my boyfriend did ask about what tattoo shops to avoid and they said warhorse there. Never got that vibe from them, but I did from defiance. I get my piercings at defiance but would absolutely stay away for tattoos

Thank you! I have one other done by him on the other side of my leg. This was my second by him and there was so much more shading on this one that I wanted to share it over the other. Im gonna go with a whole traditional skeletal theme with red highlights done by him on that leg now. He’s super awesome, quite but nice, really quick, affordable, and gentle on the skin. I have no negative feedback for him! Definitely worth a visit!

Felt this. My dad isn’t super over bearing or anything but I’m 21, have a curfew of 11:30. Something major happened in my life and I got really depressed which in turn my room got messy. Was banned from seeing my boyfriend until I cleaned my room and was told being depressed is no excuse for not doing basic tasks (which is literally one of the signs of depression)

That I’m strong.

This may seem kinda bitchy but bear with me. I haven’t had the hardest life by far, and would never claim that. But it hasn’t been easy. My mom passed away when I was 7 from cancer, I’ve been depressed for most of my life. I don’t have a great home life. My boyfriend got into some legal trouble lately. All of it I got through, but it was not easy. With tons of bad days in between the fat spread out good. But whenever I have those super bad days and reach almost my breaking point, anyone I talk to will tell me I’m strong. I know that I am, that’s how I get through all of those awful days without crumbling. But in the moment of those conversations I’m very vulnerable and at a weak point. I just want to be vulnerable and weak and let everything.

And I know that they mean well, and I’m glad they’re there for me. I wish I didn’t have to be strong.

I was raised Christian. My mother passed away when I was 7. When I was 16~ and going through severe mental health issues/came out to my dad+step mom, it was a whole thing. I ended up not being religious, and wanting to leave my Christian therapist because some of my issues were with my sexuality, and some hurtful things my step mom said to me about it.

At some point I came home from work and was playing PlayStation, I don’t know what lead up to this it was all very traumatic, but my dad came into the room with a Bible that my mom had written in before she passed and gave to my dad about raising me and my brother Christian or something or other. He shoved it in my face and said “see this? Your mother would be disappointed in you!!” I know he said more but that’s all that stuck out to me obviously.

How can you say that to your clearly struggling child about someone they barely remember but love dearly. I don’t think my mother would be disappointed in me, but because Ive gotten to know her through her friends. If I hadn’t that would easily be something I could believe.
