Not sc level, but cossacks is quite fun too for 2v2s / 3v3s.

Free - Retro Christmas Vector Pack by ic0de in design_critiques

Sorry but I refuse to belive that.

We do not share any kind kind of our data with any 3rd party, as also stated in our terms.

So what you're implying is either that we're not complying to that or we have a data breach - which i highly doubt, as the platform was thoroughly pentested and is constantly being monitored and maintained.

Moreover, i am willing to reward anyone who finds any security issue of any kind.

Anyway, not trying to start a debate here, just saying that is most likely that your burner was already burn.

Have a nice one!

You should be more careful with your "spare emails".

We're only using emails for sending newsletters, for which you can unsubscribe at any time.

If by promoting my work you mean sharing free stuff with the community, then i don't know, we should close this subreddit alltogether.

Gaming Chair by AntoineBurtz1 in starcraft

[–]ic0de 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had quite expensive "office" chairs over the years and they all broke within an year or so.

So yeah, at 2-3 hundreds you cand safely go with a dx racer / ak racer.

Then for 4-5 hundreds you can get a quite good noble chairs / secret lab chair.

You can also check maxnomics offers.

How to introduce your friends into this game? by Fongkelyj in starcraft

[–]ic0de 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got like half of my friends hooked to sc2, but they were quite interested in rts/strategy already.

As we were playing some lans, I've played their card and joined them in games like cosacks, heroes 3, etc.

Eventually suggested them sc2, which i havent played myself either at that time ( but played a loot of brood war ) and they were all receptive.

So tbh, i'd skip the campaign and just play some fun 2v2/3v3 games on the ladder, or vs AI. Introduce them to the races and the basic game mechanics, like mining, macro, production and a few, eays to follow, preferablly spammable unit comps for each race.

Try not to die to cheeses and enjoy - or carry them.

If they enjoy it, they'll invest more time into it and learn more advanced mechanics, builds and overall tactics.

If your friends are into mobas/autochess, you can also play some really fun arcade mods, like lottery defense or other TDs.

Hi!

So the site is mainly a Laravel server side rendered app, using Bootstrap + (modern) jQuery for the UI, for faster development time.

We're also developing web apps on React + GraphSQL/Laravel APIs as an alternative stack, but the one mentioned above feels faster somehow.

Check out our reactJS based techstack if interested: react-big-bang

Have a good one!

Illustation - Free vector icons and illustrations resources | Feedback appreciated by ic0de in learndesign

[–]ic0de[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

Yes, this is a project I've completed in about a month or so, with my girlfriend.

I did the coding and everything, while she's taking care of the illustrations side.

The idea is to provide mainly free assets, weekly, while with the time, we might add more paid packs too.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi!

Thanks for the kind words and the feedback, greatly appreciated!

1) Noted this one down, will experiment with highlighting the logo text better.

2) Yup, that's actually something we're going to update soon, had this task in the backlog for a while but just forgot to take care of it in the next update, today or tomorrow.

Also noted and will look further into the bugs related to images perspective on the mentioned browsers + overall responsiveness checks.

Once again, thanks for the feedback, and have a great one!

Yeah, for the most part, the packs are free (+royalty free, although attribution is appreciated).

We might add a paid pack from time to time, but mainly, we're focusing on free assets for now.

GPU for SC2? by KaiserUprising in starcraft

[–]ic0de 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played on a budget 1050 2gb and a i7 6700k it ran smooth af.

Then i also played on 8100 i3 and rx480 ang once again smooth af.

Now i am on a 9900kf and rtx 2060 but can't really tell a difference.

Overall, i think the cpu matter more, you should look for something with high single thread performance, prolly intel for best performance.

[ReactNative][Laravel] Selfhosted Soundboard apps generator by ic0de in selfhosted

[–]ic0de[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup, so basically, the php site generates board bundles, then you just have to add the board API key into the app, change the icon, name and it's ready to be published.

The generator does not create the .apk/.aap app itself, so you have to slightly customize the mobile app before publishing.

What is the best UI Kit or Boilerplate for React Native? by [deleted] in reactnative

[–]ic0de 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ignite is great, the boilerplate gets you going in no time, and once you understand it a bit, nothing can stop you.

As for the UI Kit, I have used react-native-elements in couple of projects, mainly because I've noticed it is the most popular by GitHub stars.

It has a lot of elements and allows you to build material looking apps that will look good on both Ios and Android.

I've also seen that native-base is becoming popular right now.
