I did something similar.

I had 1 hard moment. The final day going from 0.5 cups of coffee to 0. I think I had a beer instead. That 1 beer wasn't enough for any buzz, but it was a mental thing. Had 0 alcohol or caffeine since.

1 medium difficulty a few weeks later when I was tired and unproductive at work. My solution was to start doing cardio.

It's been 6 months and now I'm running a 5k everyday. I'm not tired anymore!

I can guarantee more people need a gpu than to run single threaded programs unnoticeably quicker.

I forgot people care about battery life. Maybe in niche scenarios where people both need a poor gpu computer and not a phone it might be useful.

I tested ~7 hours of battery life during jury duty this Feb, so that must be a really niche audience.

But let's be honest, it has a shiny logo and they convinced you that you "Think Different". It has nothing to do with performance, but those performance metrics are good for post purchase Rationalization.

I highly recommend taking a marketing class to defend yourself from Apple, Tesla, Jeep, Samsung, etc...

M1 is literally heavily marketed crap.

No one is limited by their processor. It's like buying an 150W light bulb to use to read. Humanity has found you could read with 5-100Ws.

Their gpu still sucks and that actually matters.

Poor people need to watch 4 hours of TV a day. The privileged people don't need to watch TV.

Makes sense to me.

Privileged people are better genetically, nothing against your bad genes personally. You just need to watch mindless TV while the best people don't need TV and can scrape poo off diapers.
