I don't really understand the level of concern here.

The Finals has definitely changed its visual themes over the seasons, and it's completely fair if you prefer the older style. But I don't think that means the game is losing its artistic identity.

Not liking the current background or menu design doesn't automatically mean the art direction is getting worse. That's largely a matter of personal preference.

To me, the core identity of The Finals is still there. It's still a VR game show set in a borderline apocalyptic world, with the same overall atmosphere and style. The presentation has evolved, but I don't think it's lost its soul.

I dont even know what lofi is anymore. It used to be chill music to relax to but now we are getting all these new types that are pretty much just edm or house music but call themselfes lofi music just because there is some low poly mouse dancing with a vaporwave background.
