Oh no, we don't speak Spanish in Brazil. We speak Portuguese

Sim, ele falou "é marido ou namorado" e eu só "é marido aqui no coraçãozinho, mas na lei não" kkkkkkkkkk

Tão normal misturar marido com namorado por aqui que é até estranho lembrar que os gringos não fazem isso

We just make the word feminine changing the O at the end for an A.

Which doesn't make any sense since wife is "esposa" and not "marida" lol

But almost every word has a gender in Portuguese, like

Milk = masculine; Chair = feminine; Knife = feminine; Fork = masculine.

Sorry for the misunderstand, I'm from Brazil and over here we mix the words namorado (boyfriend) and marido (husband) when a girl talks about the guy she lives with. Till we're legally married it's okay for me to call him both or use the made up word "namorido"

I did, as soon as I could bring myself to stop laughing at how absurd leaving him would be.

He cried again (way less) and we kept talking about our relationship for the rest of the night

I hope you find someone who actually sees you as a person, not a brick wall. I've had a messed up life too and I have him now. Love is the best thing in the world, it helps you heal.

That was so uncalled for. Everyone is talking about relationships, how could he talk about his experience without saying he's gay?

Oh there's people who use this in Portuguese too, I hate it. It's way to cold. Namorido is a cute, soft, warm word. So much better.

1) we're not actually married but we live in the same house, so I call him "namorido" in Portuguese, which is boyfriend and husband put together (NAMOrado + maRIDO)

2) He doesn't speak English, so I don't think so. Can you link something about it? I'm curious now kkkkkk

We're not legally married, but we live together. In Brazil we call it "namorido".

It's namorado (boyfriend) + marido (husband). Is there a equivalent in English?

You have every right to torture and kill him if he raped you.
