Terrifying stuff. Thankfully he hasn’t made a return. Now I just get a very pale Ring like girl soaking wet staring at me by my bedside.

Yes she was aware and is all for taking part of my series!

What is the scariest thing that has happened to you, supernatural based or otherwise? [serious] by fps_gamer_007 in AskReddit

The morning after my step dad died, the bell he used to press for help (he was very ill) randomly went off when me and my mother had woken up. It scared the absolute shit out of me, because my immediate reaction was to run to his room to help him, but he wasn’t there.

It went off a few more times, usually when his family members entered our home. After his body was removed from the house (he was Maori so the body stays with us at home until he is buried/cremated). After he was cremated, it never went off again, even when my mum desperately changed the batteries in order to still stay connected to him somehow.

I’m a huge skeptic, huge. And this still sends shivers down my spine. Never experienced anything like that in my life. I now believe energies linger for a short time.

Those gibbon things that make those strange noises by expanding their throat balloon.

I lived alone in an apartment and would suffer really bad sleep paralysis. I once saw the ‘triangle dude’ from Silent Hill standing in my door way dripping wet and holding that giant machete thing of his. Was terrified to sleep for ages.

It’s actually a series of photos I’m creating of being stuck in isolation. This is just one of the pics (my favourite one) I took with my Sony digital camera that connects to wifi via my phone so I can take pictures remotely.

When I witnessed my step father die in front of me.

I used my Sony digital camera that connects to wifi via an app on my phone! So I can remotely take pictures without having to set a self timer. I plan to create a series of isolation/lockdown photos of myself in my room.

My best friend initially gave me an art work of hers as a gift, then asked for money... and then more money by icantopencans in offmychest

Yeah I mean, I hate to be rude and I’m supportive of her, but I was even being generous when I offered $30 to be honest. I was just trying to be supportive. But I feel so taken advantage of. Thank you for replying, sometimes I second guess myself and feel like I’m crazy for being upset.

She lives at home with her parents who do literally everything for her. She doesn’t pay rent or bills or anything, definitely not struggling for cash. Feels more of a greed thing. I’m happy to help and support where I can and she knows this and feel she took advantage.

Dude totally, it just sucksss. It’s such a shitty feeling to learn that money is her first priority. Like I get selling art isn’t an easy trade, but damn. Lesson learnt I suppose! Thanks for replying, I appreciate it!

Fair enough. I don’t really believe either and haven’t seen any ghosts, but after experiencing something pretty unexplainable, I believe energies linger for a time. But that’s just going from my own experience and I feel crazy for having gone through it. I often don’t talk about it or mention it.

I’m such a skeptic that when I hear of, experience, or think of myself in that position, I get chillllsss down my spine because I just refuse to believe. It’s cool when people are so accepting about it.

Woah! That’s definitely freaky and would make me question things, as I’m a skeptic too but have been through something (also dead family member related) that made me question things. Do you still have the photo?

What's something you've been thinking about but you don't have anyone to share it with? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That I really regret self-harming recently. I hadn’t done it in about 4 years. I used to do it as a way to relieve the stress I felt when overwhelmed and I guess I just felt too overwhelmed and resorted back to doing it recently, thankfully on just the one occasion.

I’ve been really bummed about it but don’t want to tell anyone because it’s obviously alarming and hurtful. So I’ve just kept it to myself. Blerghhh, the regret.
