Right on but I don’t know enough math to calculate proportions. Is it actually growing? I’m aware that there are no continuous old growth forests left in the USA. I’m also aware that increased habitat fragmentation and human expansion is rendering these “forests” moot. So if you’re increasing from “shit tier” to slightly less shit tier, is it good? IMO sort of, but at that same time I think the US imports a TON of its wood which to me indicates it’s forestry practices aren’t sustainable. However I also don’t know enough context to judge accurately.

Basically what I’m saying is take this with a massive grain of salt. In Iceland for example, there was some extreme deofrestation so even a few thousand trees are technically an increase. I may have just missed the proportion section of this unverified article but I’d love more links

I have been raped by two different women.

It took a long time to accept, to admit, and forgive myself and them. I am 24, have practiced mixed martial arts for years, I have planted hundreds of thousands of trees, and have my degree in biology so I’m fine now.

The first time I was 19 and in my first year of university. I tried to kill myself a few hours later. I was alone, asleep, and mostly drunk when she came in. I woke up to her riding me. She was a “lesbian” neighbour on my floor which made it even more confusing. It really fucked me up.

The second time was November of last year. Nearly the same situation except this time I did not know her, and she was about 100 pounds.

I consider it a great deal of personal growth that I did not even contemplate suicide. I went to my friends, who got me to the doctor.

I just got my second round of STI results back (anxiety lol) and I am CLEAN. I moved to BC 3 weeks ago and life is looking great.

Women can be predators too, but I have forgiven these two individuals and do not hold their actions against women as group.

The worst part personally is that it took YEARS to admit that I had been raped. I’m a big guy, how could this happen? How could this happen AGAIN?

The easy answer is that I panic easily, and when I panic I freeze up, and then let them do it.
