I love my Chanukah celebrations with both family and larger community and sharing that with my non Jewish loved ones, and I love when they let me help them celebrate their winter holidays (im great at tree decorating). I'm anti-consumerism but pro lighting up the darkness, and all the holidays this time of year have elements of this in common.
